Renee Descoutures: CT Portrait Photographer- Snow, Ice and Pretty Portraits!

Good evening my loyal blog readers! On the eve of yet another snow storm here in CT, I decided it was a good time to post a few shots from a recent outdoor session. This beautiful and brave young lady makes the icy cold temperatures and frosty snow seem not so bad after all.

Love the shot below!

and this one...

and this is certainly one of my favs!

How beautiful is this snow?? See it's not all THAT bad!

A little bit of the supermodel stare ;)

and the supermodel lean and..

it's a wrap!

Winter is not the most popular season for outdoor portraits but I wouldn't mind doing a few more sessions like this. They are quick paced and get stunning results. This is a great option for the 2011 high school seniors that still haven't had their senior portraits done.

Have a great night and stay warm!!!

:) Renee

P.S. I always love hearing from you! There is a comment section below:)

Renee Descoutures: CT Newborn Photographer- New Year/New Baby

Happy New Year!!!!
I am excited for what this year will bring! I am looking forward to great personal and business growth and thank each and every one of you that have come here to support me and my business!! I truly appreciate you taking a few minutes out of your day to read a post, browse a gallery, leave a comment or pass my name along to a friend that might be interested in working with me.
After a little break to spend the holidays and snow days with my friends and family I am back up and running. And what better way to start off blogging in the new year than with new life?! This brand new baby girl is as sweet as they come. I had a lovely afternoon capturing her teeny tiny newness that passes way too quickly. Enjoy a few of my favorites....

Here she is enjoying snuggle time with her proud Mom and Dad, who you probably recognize from the previous maternity post! She's smiling! They are such a beautiful family and it was such an honor to be asked back to capture these moments for them with their baby girl!

Thanks for stopping by!Until next time...
:) Renee

Renee Descoutures: CT Maternity Photographer- Pretty in Pink

Oh. my. goodness!! I can't even begin to describe how much I LOVED photographing this session! When I arrived I met a beautiful couple so completely in love with each other and their baby girl. Their home was buzzing with excitement and I couldn't help but relive some of my own memories when my husband and I were preparing for the arrival of our first child. I love that I am able to capture and preserve some of these memories for my clients.

The Momma and Papa...

I love how he is looking at her in the shot below. One of my favorites for sure...
along with this next one :)
Both glowing!

Did I mention gorgeous??

...with a perfectly round belly!

Love this moment!
And how handsome is Dad? I love that he joined in the fun and wore pink!

We were lucky enough to have this shoot on one of the warmer fall days and decided to head outside for a bit.

Another one of my favorites below with the warm soft light and the happy couple:)

I had such a hard time choosing which images to highlight in this post. I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of my many favorites. Thanks for stopping by!!

Renee Descoutures Photography-CT Newborn Photographer: Perfectly New!

I am thrilled when I am asked to capture a newborn's first photos. I love this precious teeny tiny stage and it only lasts a few weeks. When you combine how fast time flies and sleep deprivation from feedings every 1-2 hours it gets hard for parents to remember the details. I gladly will capture and preserve the memories for you:)

Baby Katerina: A perfect angel at only a week and a half old!

Aww, those little lips...

and the light little eye lashes.....

and the little squishy face...

...all snuggled up!!

Such a sweet baby girl!

Oh how I miss the baby stage! In the blink of an eye my youngest has just turned 4!!

Katerina is a doll! Enjoy every moment!!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Renee Descoutures Photography-CT Child Portrait Photographer: Little Girls and Tutus!

There is just something so sweet about little girls in tutus! I can think up a zillion different ways to photograph them. This little girl, Arianna, not only is adorable but is full of spunk! I knew she would be great to capture in a tutu.

We started off at the ice cream shoppe. I love the picture combo below for a few reasons. 1) The drippy cone is classic kid style . 2)I love that you can see how small she is compared to the mailbox. It's a fun way to look back and realize how little they were at certain ages.

Our drippy cone didn't last as long as planned but no worries. I go with the flow. We had a gorgeous day, a cool green bike and a few neat brick walls to work with. And lots of laughs!

I love the hands on the hips here...so cute.

The next three black and whites are my favorites!

Big thanks to Arianna for being a wonderful model! I hope you and your family love them!!

-Renee :)

P.S. If you stopped by and enjoyed this post let me know! Your comments make my day:)!

Renee Descoutures-CT Family Portrait Photographer:Sweet Family of Three!

Sweet Family of Three!

Quite possibly the easiest family I have ever photographed. Seriously. All three are beautiful and photogenic! And... little Livi looked my way and smiled just like that! I am always prepared for lots of running when toddlers are involved... but this session only called for a few straddle jumps toward the end:) No joke..the kids love it! Here are a few shots that I captured!

I love the next shot, everyone is so happy and Livi is laughing... probably at me doing something silly:)
I love the sweet cuddles with mom!
And here she is so excited to show Dad all of the fun things she was seeing at the beach.
Can't go to Lighthouse Point Park and not get a nice shot with the lighthouse!
The carousel is another must! Actually, I suggested this location especially for the carousel and am so glad the family was up for it. The only bummer was that there happened to be an event that day and the carousel wasn't running for another few hours. So I only had a few minutes to grab the next few shots since a non-moving carousel isn't much fun for anyone!

K&K thank you so much for a great family session!! You are a wonderful family and it was so nice meeting you and your precious girl! Hope you love them as much as I do!!

:)Renee
