Renee Descoutures Photography: Mom/Child(ren) Portrait Session Giveaway!!

Mothers are in most cases the family photographer. Which means that unless they set the timer on the camera or ASK someone to take a picture of them with their children it doesn't typically happen. The end result..there are very few tangible memories of the mother and child(ren) together...even fewer that are natural or candid.

The GOOD news is that I can help! I would love to capture these moments for you. The BETTER news is that I will capture these moments for one Mom for FREE! That's right, I am giving away a Mother/Child(ren) session for FREE! The BEST news..it's easy to enter!! All you have to do is send out an email to all of your family and friends, including me :), saying that I am having a contest with a link to this blog post! Your name will be entered into the drawing 1 time for every 10 people you send that email to. Easy, right?!

* You have through Monday April 11th to get your emails out! Don't forget to include me, reneedphotography@yahoo.com * Rest assured that I will not spam any of your friends or family *The winner will be drawn and announced on Tues the 12th. * The Free session will take place before May 31, 2011. *The session can not be combined with any other session and is for a mother and her children only(sorry dads, grandparents and grandchildren).

Good luck and I look forward to hearing from you!!

Renee Descoutures: CT Portrait Photographer- Carey

Hello there friendly blog readers! I am so happy you stopped by! I really enjoyed this shoot and am excited to share a few images with you!

I was inspired by dramatic lighting and everything that went along with tap dance..top hat, bow tie, cane, etc...

A huge THANK YOU to Carey and Dance City and The Arts ! Carey was my super gorgeous model for the evening and the Dance City studios were the wonderful backdrops.

Enjoy!

The last three don't have as much to do with dance but I LOVE a beautiful headshot. They are actually some of my favorites from the shoot. Something about that butterfly lighting ...

Thanks again for stopping by! Have a wonderful evening!

Renee Descoutures: CT Portrait Photographer- Snow, Ice and Pretty Portraits!

Good evening my loyal blog readers! On the eve of yet another snow storm here in CT, I decided it was a good time to post a few shots from a recent outdoor session. This beautiful and brave young lady makes the icy cold temperatures and frosty snow seem not so bad after all.

Love the shot below!

and this one...

and this is certainly one of my favs!

How beautiful is this snow?? See it's not all THAT bad!

A little bit of the supermodel stare ;)

and the supermodel lean and..

it's a wrap!

Winter is not the most popular season for outdoor portraits but I wouldn't mind doing a few more sessions like this. They are quick paced and get stunning results. This is a great option for the 2011 high school seniors that still haven't had their senior portraits done.

Have a great night and stay warm!!!

:) Renee

P.S. I always love hearing from you! There is a comment section below:)

Renee Descoutures: CT Newborn Photographer- New Year/New Baby

Happy New Year!!!!
I am excited for what this year will bring! I am looking forward to great personal and business growth and thank each and every one of you that have come here to support me and my business!! I truly appreciate you taking a few minutes out of your day to read a post, browse a gallery, leave a comment or pass my name along to a friend that might be interested in working with me.
After a little break to spend the holidays and snow days with my friends and family I am back up and running. And what better way to start off blogging in the new year than with new life?! This brand new baby girl is as sweet as they come. I had a lovely afternoon capturing her teeny tiny newness that passes way too quickly. Enjoy a few of my favorites....

Here she is enjoying snuggle time with her proud Mom and Dad, who you probably recognize from the previous maternity post! She's smiling! They are such a beautiful family and it was such an honor to be asked back to capture these moments for them with their baby girl!

Thanks for stopping by!Until next time...
:) Renee

Renee Descoutures: CT Maternity Photographer- Pretty in Pink

Oh. my. goodness!! I can't even begin to describe how much I LOVED photographing this session! When I arrived I met a beautiful couple so completely in love with each other and their baby girl. Their home was buzzing with excitement and I couldn't help but relive some of my own memories when my husband and I were preparing for the arrival of our first child. I love that I am able to capture and preserve some of these memories for my clients.

The Momma and Papa...

I love how he is looking at her in the shot below. One of my favorites for sure...
along with this next one :)
Both glowing!

Did I mention gorgeous??

...with a perfectly round belly!

Love this moment!
And how handsome is Dad? I love that he joined in the fun and wore pink!

We were lucky enough to have this shoot on one of the warmer fall days and decided to head outside for a bit.

Another one of my favorites below with the warm soft light and the happy couple:)

I had such a hard time choosing which images to highlight in this post. I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of my many favorites. Thanks for stopping by!!

-Renee :)

P.S. Please don't be shy. Leave me a note to let me know you were here!
